Gold Coast Junior Golf Foundation, Inc. now offers two different opportunities for junior golfers. The "Gold Program" is our educational program and developmental tournaments that have been conducted the past 12 years. Most tournaments are played on Sundays throughout the year. Special tournaments conducted by the Gold Program are the Okee-Gold Cup matches and the Prestige Junior Championships. The Gold Program is open to all Boys & Girls 18 & Under, regardless of golf skills.   Please see www.prestigejuniorchampionships.org for the entry requirements for this event.

The "Platinum Tour" is our tournament series consisting of seven, 36 hole, stroke-play tournaments for advanced players in Boys 13-15, Boys 16-18, and Girls 13-18 age divisions. Most of the tournaments are played on Saturdays and Sundays beginning in March and continuing through Labor Day at venues located in eastern South Florida. Membership in the Platinum Tour is required to play in Platinum Tour tournaments, except for the Callaway Junior World Championship qualifier, which is an open tournament. Players must consistently shoot 89 or better for Boys and 99 or better for Girls.

The 2009-2010 season GCJGF membership categories are:
Gold Program: $50 - eligible for Gold Program events only*
Platinum Tour: $75 - eligible for Platinum Tour Tournaments only*
Gold Program & Platinum Tour: $125 - eligible for Platinum Tour 36-Hole & GCJGF 18-Hole Tournaments*

*Tournament entry fees are additional

The Participation & Performance point matrix remains the same for 2009-2010. A separate "Player of the Year" contest will be held for the Gold Program and the Platinum Tour. It is possible that a player could win POY in both programs.
