We live in an
area where thunder and lightning storms develop in a hurry and
can move fast.
Please
review the
Weather Warning
posted on this web site. The most important thing to remember is
SAFETY. The Rules of Golf # 6.8 allows a player to discontinue play on
their own if he/she feels threatened by lightning. You do not have to wait
for the horn, however, a player may not discontinue play because of bad weather. i.e.
Rain.
A weather service
is used to warn us, however, these systems
are not fail-safe! We feel it gives us an added warning and a
better chance to clear the courses of members and their families.
PLAY IT SAFE !
