Point Program

A point matrix will be use to determine the number of points awarded for each tournament based on the number of players in each division. First place ties will be decided by a playoff, putt-off, or match of cards, depending on the course availability. Ties for 2nd and 3rd place will be decided by match of cards to determine trophy position. All ties, other than 1st, will be awarded the highest points for the place of finish you are tied for. i.e. Three players are tied for 3rd place. See below the point matrix for details.)

Points will be awarded for each tournament conducted September through July. Separate points will be maintained for Gold Program members and Platinum Tour Members.

A non-member will not receive or accumulate points but their order of finish will be used in determining the order of finish for a tournament. Points will be awarded to members according to their finish using the entire field in the division.

The Board of Directors may award additional participation & performance bonus points for other activities and competitions. These points will be added to the point total at the end of the year.

One Thousand Points will be deducted for a late entry, providing the entry is accepted.

Positions 1-7 will be awarded 70 % of the points for each position. 1st Place = 70% of 4500 for a total of 3150 points awarded.

Each player tied for a finish position will received the highest number of points available for that position. The total number of players tied will be considered to determine the next finish position. Example: Three players are tied for 4th; 4th (2500 points) each will receive 2500 points. The next finish position is 7th and would receive 1500 points.

Players must play a minimum of six tournaments in a division to win the Participation & Performance for the division. Players that must change divisions during the year due to a birthday may play in the older division beginning with their first tournament.

No points will be transferred to the next division.
